Call for Papers: European Integration and the EU-Asian Relationship
There is a call for paper for PhD students in the Asia-Pacific region by the EU Centre in Taiwan. Deadline for abstracts is 31 October 2010. The actual conference will be in Taiwan from 22-23 February 2011.
The description reads
The workshop will be organized into panels, with the following themes likely to be included:
• The future of European integration (e.g. reforms in the Eurozone; the new institutional structure introduced by the Lisbon Treaty);
• European and Asian integration in comparison (ASEM in the new era);
• EU-Asia relations (EU’s Asian policies; European policies of Asian countries)Papers are invited on any topic related to these broader themes and we welcome PhD students from Law, Political Science, History, European Studies and other disciplines.
